<p>This paper considers the issues relating to integration of fuel cells in domestic buildings. It will consider the suitability and practical issues relating to use of various types of fuel, size and location, combined heat and power and balance of the latter’s outputs in relation to typical domestic power and heating demands. Other issues such as installation, legislation, planning and maintenance are also touched on.</p>
