<p>This paper reviews new developments in technology to integrate solar energy and positive input ventilation systems used in homes in order to obtain maximum energy benefit. The review focuses on ways to combine the utilisation of the available energy into space heating and hot water generation, whilst reducing fossil fuel use and therefore reducing carbon emissions.</p>
