<p>The paper develops an integral approach to urban planning taking into account the local wind comfort. Increased wind speed at pedestrian level is one of the problems which are considered as the most important. In order to create an appropriate local climate, architects and urban planers have to fulfil some criteria for environmental wind conditions. The general task of the research program focus on the study a number of cases of buildings configuration to estimate local wind conditions from the point of view of pedestrian comfort. The numerical simulations have been applied as a method of present analysis.</p>
