<p>Intelligent choice of an adsorbent optimal for transformation of low temperature heat should be based on comprehensive analysis of both thermodynamic and dynamic aspects. In the present communication, the detailed analysis was carried out for new composite sorbents “CaCl2 confined to a meso-structured silicate SBA-15” with various pore size (8.5 and 11.8 nm) and salt content (10-35 mass. %).. The isotherms of water ad-/desorption were measured at T = 50 °C and the vapour pressure of 0 to 30 mbar. Water sorption dynamics was investigated by a Large Temperature Jump method under typical conditions of isobaric stages of adsorptive chilling cycle. The values of COP and SCP were estimated at different boundary conditions. The thermodynamic and kinetic aspects of applying the new composites were analyzed in comparison with common adsorbents - silica Fuji RD, SWS-1L, FAM-Z02. Results of this study impressively demonstrate that the new composite sorbents can be considered as promising new candidates for adsorptive transformation of low-temperature heat.</p>
