<p>During the process of optimizing energy utilization, especially for an independent plant or a conglomeration of buildings, identifying the arrangement of energy streams is very important. Based on the energy structure of a typical pharmaceuticals company, the paper jointly considers combined cooling, heating and power technology, heat integration technology together with renewable energy technology (i.e., solar energy and geothermal energy) for energy cascade use. By economic analysis and comparison, it has been proven that this energy utilization method is achievable.</p>
