<p>With gradual exhaustion of conventional energy sources, and between people and improvement that living environment require, as a clean energy, solar cells would be bound to develop more furiously. Today, as an important material, crystalline silicon solar cell has occupied a absolute share in the market, and its preparation technology represents the level of technical development of whole industry of solar cell. Especially in recent years, the preparation technology of silicon solar cell has made great progress such as reduction in production costs as well as improving the conversion efficiency of the cell. This paper based on surface texture technology of crystalline silicon solar cell, caring more about decreasing the reflection from silicon surface and increasing the conversion efficiency of solar cells, and presented recent new progress in research, development and application for surface modification technique of crystalline silicon. Furthermore, various preparation technologies are reviewed, and the devolopment of techniques which used in surface of crystalline silicon are expected.</p>
