<p>A simulation model is proposed for combined heat, daylight and electric power availability from an airflow window with a photovoltaic (PV) solar wall spandrel. The physical model of airflow window in an outdoor test room comprises of a wooden framed wall assembly with: (i) a triple glazed fenestration section; (ii) a solar wall spandrel section of double-glass PV modules and back panel; and (iii) fan pressure based manually operated inlet and exhaust dampers ventilation system for transportation of heat. The system is discretised into network of two adjacent stacks of control volumes common to surface and air nodes. The energy balances are performed on both surface and air nodes with aid of constitutive relations for daylight, electric power, dissipated heat (conduction, convection, radiation) and heat transport. The solar noon annual solstices and equinoxes days are selected for performing sensitivity analysis to achieve range of: (i) temperatures of pre-conditioned fresh air available to HVAC system; (ii) electric power generation vis-à-vis surface temperatures of photovoltaic modules; and (iii) daylight available for transmission into the room. Computer aided simulation model is developed for an airflow window system located in Montréal.</p>
