<p>Forecasting end-use natural gas consumption is an important factor for efficient system operation and a basis for planning decisions. In this paper we use particle swarm optimization as a tool for long run forecasting natural gas consumption. We use 6 type of factors such as GDP – Population – Temperature and etc and 4 - linear and nonlinear model type for this purpose.</p>
