<p>The practical engineering applications often face the problem of fluid flow in porous media, such as low permeability reservoir development, gas layer exploration, groundwater applications, etc. With the continuous development of China's industrialization process, China's oil industry urgently needs to further increase oil recovery ratio. With regarding to such practical problem, this paper extended the SPH method to viscoelastic fluid flow field, by selecting the appropriate constitutive equation to simulate the viscoelastic fluid flow in a special class of flow channel -blind side pores. The simulation results show that different blind side pore angles and different fluid flow parameters have an impact on the fluid flow characteristics.</p>
