<p>For a three-phase PWM rectifier, the input current signals can be converted to a synchronous d-q coordinate system, and the DC component can be controlled in zero steady-state error by PI control adjustment. But for a single-phase PWM rectifier, it is difficult to achieve this conversion after the pi regulator and to track the zero steady-state error of a given signal's sinusoidal current. To overcome these problems, an improved PR controller based on ideal proportion-resonant controller is proposed in this paper. The controller is superior to the PI controller in tracking sinusoidal signals and the DC bus voltage has good stability and anti-interference ability. The MATLAB simulation results verify the effectiveness of the proposed improved PR controller.</p>
