<p>One of the methods in liquefaction of natural gas is cryogenic liquefaction. The main disadvantage of this method, which is generally preferred due to its high fraction rate, is its high energy consumption. For this reason, it has become necessary to conduct energy and exergy analysis of natural gas liquefaction plants. In this study, an advanced exergy analysis of natural gas liquefaction plants using the cryogenic method was performed. In order to make a detailed analysis of the exergy destruction of the facility, advanced exergy analysis was applied to each component. As a result of the study, the exergy efficiency of the facility was calculated as 53%. It was also found to be the highest unavoidable exergy destruction turbine.</p>
