<p>As the world seeks sustainable solutions to address the growing demand for electricity and at the same time addressing the climate impact, the integration of renewable and nuclear energy resources emerges as a promising way. This research proposes a comprehensive study on the feasibility and potential benefits of a Solar-Nuclear Hybrid Energy System (S-NHES) for electricity generation particularly in emerging country, Malaysia. The research will focus on three crucial aspects: economic viability, environmental impact and the readiness of the Malaysian energy landscape. The research methodology will involve a combination of case study, including simulation, modelling, data analysis and the insights from the involved parties in terms of the readiness aspect. The findings of this study aim to provide policymakers, energy stakeholders and the academic community with a holistic understanding of the economic, environmental and readiness perspectives of implementing such an innovative approach in Malaysia. The ultimate goal is to contribute to the development of sustainable and resilient energy solutions tailored to the unique characteristics and challenges of the nation’s energy sector. The investigation is anticipated to pave the way for stimulating further research and development in the field of hybrid energy systems, positioning Malaysia at the forefront of sustainable energy innovation.</p>
