Open access

Every article in Global Decarbonisation is published Gold Open Access: open access immediately, in the journal itself, with no version of it held behind anything. The copyright holder of every article grants usage rights to others under an open licence, which permits any user to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search or link to the full text, crawl it for indexing, pass it to software as data, or use it for any other lawful purpose.

This is the definition of open access used by DOAJ, and Global Decarbonisation meets it in full.

• There is no embargo. The full text is available on the day of publication.
• There is no registration, login or account of any kind required to read.
• There is no subscription, and no part of the journal sits behind one.
• There is no subscription-only content in Global Decarbonisation, so it is not a hybrid.
