After acceptance
What happens between acceptance and publication, and what you can do afterwards.
Production
Copyediting
Your paper is prepared for publication: structure, references, figures and tables are checked and typeset. You will be asked to confirm the front matter, the author list and the declarations.
Proof
You receive a proof and approve it. Corrections at proof stage are for errors, not for new results. Proofs come from info@caravelpress.com, which is also where to reply.
Publication
The article is published with a DOI registered at Crossref, together with its full reference list, its licence, and every author's ORCID iD.
What you get
- A permanent DOI that will resolve for as long as the DOI system exists.
- A typeset PDF and a full-text web version.
- JATS XML of the article, which is what indexes and archives read.
- Your paper in the journal's feed, its sitemap, and its OAI-PMH endpoint the moment it is published.
