Ventilation leads to wasteful energy loss. To overcome this, energy efficient ventilation system is needed as one of the alternative technique in energy saving and renewable energy system. We have designed an air-to-air heat recovery with wind catcher ventilation system. The experimental investigation has been carried out where the performance of an air-to-air plate heat recovery associated with wind catcher ventilation system was tested in a single cubic test room. Air velocity was found to have a significant effect on the sensible effectiveness of plate heat recovery. The effectiveness was also affected by the air intake temperature. The sensible transferred heat was also calculated and it was found that the heat transfer increased with increasing velocity and enhanced greater value in heat transfer coefficient. Temperature difference which is the driving force between air flows through the plate heat recovery surface found to have significant influence on the sensible transferred heat
