Abstract

In present paper, a separate heat pipe with microchannel using R134a as working fluid was proposed. A few factors which would affect the performance of the separate heat pipe with microchannel such as refrigerant change amount and liquid distribution of the inlets were experimented and analyzed. The test results show that the refrigerant change amount have an optimal value for the separate heat pipe, and with the help of infrared camera it can be conclude that the way of liquid allocation plays an important role to the separate heat pipe with microchannel when it worked.
