Constraction and Desing of Impulse High Voltage Measurement System

In high voltage technology; impulse high voltage tests are used for observing and researching of breakdown mechanism of electromechanical products and materials under internal (switching) and external (lightning) impulse and determining in compliance with the national and international standards. In impulse high voltages, the voltage level is so high and time parameters are too short. Because of this feature, measurement of impulse high voltage with accurately is too difficult. This article is related to construction of impulse high voltage measuring system which has high measurement speed, measures the amplitude with high resolution, calculates the amplitude and time parameters automatically with software according to the related standards, draws the impulse shape, records the results, convert the results to a report and print out. With these features, impulse high voltage calibrations and tests can be done without creating user-related errors.
