Abstract

Construction wastes continue to increase due to industrial growth. Although it is important to recycle construction waste, it is also significant to control waste. A general plan that is able to minimize waste should be established for the entire lifecycle of buildings from the design, construction, use (remodeling), and demolition stages. The purpose of the study is to suggest a guideline for the reduction of wastes by the types of construction from the aspects of the Earth’s environmental preservation and resource conservation.
