Singapore is a developed tropical country where is located in Southeast-Asia. With rapid economic growth and living standard improvement, more and more residential building occupants installed air conditioners to provide better thermal comfort. The objective of this research was to conduct the effectiveness analysis for implementations of proposed modern energy efficient methods in Singaporean residential building by computer modeling and simulation approaching. The research results showed that implementing of 100 mm insulation layers, 1.0 m overhang external shading device, double-glazed suncool fenestration system, green roofs and BIPV system could provided 68% of annual cooling energy savings, 64% of annual electrical energy savings, and 60% of annual carbon emission savings. Therefore, It could conclude that the proposed modern energy efficient methods were effective to reduce cooling and electrical energy consumption as well as carbon emission.
