Wave power is an intermittent energy source which must be used when available. In this paper, a novel procedure for the so called pumped-storage hydroelectricity is investigated. Pumped storage plants can be configured in several ways, where, different methods are used to pump water from a lower reservoir to an upper one. In this research, the irregular kinetic energy in sea waves is to be converted and stored as a potential energy, in a reservoir, to be used in a regular form. The stored energy is converted once again to mechanical energy, for driving a turbine. This paper is concerned with the storage of energy in one of its forms until it is needed, as for example, many crowded cities are located close to seashore, where electrical energy consumption during the day is much more than at night, therefore, all water collected at night is stored to be used during the next day. The planed wave power station is to be connected to the power grid, during the day, to compensate for the extra needed electricity.
