Abstract

The aim of this study is to perform an exergoeconomic analysis of Organic Rankine Cycle with silver-nano pentane (nORC) as working fluid and fueled by municipal solid waste. Thermodynamic cycle has been modeled by using the parametric optimization modeling tool. The most suitable design parameters are evaluated under exergetic, economic and exergoeconomic criteria. Exergy efficiency improvement is examined and exergoeconomic analysis is presented. The exergoeconomic analysis demonstrates the superiority of nano fluid in ORC compared with the traditional working fluids.
