This paper proposes an experimental system that is used for vacuum flash ice-making under the adsorption method. Comparative experiments, with or without adsorption modules are carried out with initial temperature of 32℃ and 22℃, preset pressure of 400 to 800Pa, initial water height of 20 to 50mm. Experimental results show that: with the reduced pressure, the pool of liquid goes through three periods; under-cooling, boiling and freezing. The rate of pressure rise with adsorption modules is smaller than the rate without adsorption modules, with the same condition of the initial temperature, the height of the liquid film and the preset pressure in the closed chamber. With the same condition of the same initial temperature and preset pressure, the chamber pressure increases slowly with the smaller height of water film in the presence of adsorbed modules. The influence law of adsorption on the chamber pressure, the water temperature and the chamber temperature is proved.
