This paper presents a set of state transmission method for energy management in a micro-CHP system. The CHP system, consisting of a bio-fuel engine/generator, batteries and super capacitors, is primarily proposed to satisfy domestic energy needs. The operational strategy aims to govern the energy supplying flow among these multi-sources in CHP system when demand fluctuated. Simulation flat form DYMOLA is used to realise the operational strategy when element models of the system are built up with the same software. And simulation results validate the effectiveness of the method proposed where the objectives are met. The overall energy efficiencies are improved from 3.84%, 3.67%, 5.15%, 4.14% to 19.69%, 17.47%, 21.48%, 17.75%, respectively in case studies.
