Advertising and revenue

Where the money comes from, and why it has no bearing on what is published.

Revenue

The World Society of Sustainable Energy Technologies (WSSET) charges conference registration and an article processing charge for each accepted paper, as two separate charges, and pays Caravel Press for publishing the volume. Caravel Press makes no charge to authors. Both charges are set out on the charges page.

Advertising

SET Proceedings carries no advertising of any kind. No advertisement appears on any paper page, and no advertising is interleaved with content.

Direct marketing

Calls for papers are issued by the conference organiser. Caravel Press sends no unsolicited invitations to submit, and does not buy mailing lists.

Metrics

We are guided by DORA and do not use journal-level metrics to represent the quality of an individual paper or researcher. Any metric shown on this site names the index it comes from and links to it.
