This paper introduces the thermal performance of a CSHPSS(central solar heating plant with seasonal storage) built in Korea, which is currently under operation since 2004. The system is built on Cheju Island located about 60 miles from the southern tip of the Korean peninsula. It consists of three different kinds of solar collectors(350m2) and a large water tank of 600 m3 for the seasonal storage. It is found that each system of collectors has its own merits in utilizing solar energy depending on the temperature of heat transfer medium and solar intensity which change constantly throughout the year..
