Abstract

The flat-plate solar collector converts radiant solar energy to heat. This heat can then be used to cook in a solar oven, produce power, heating water for domestic or industrial uses, passively or actively heating space. In the present study the distributions of temperature and velocity in fin-tube of flat-plate solar collector with glass have been studied with three-dimensional steady-state simulations. The numerical results for different configuration of the collector are discussed.
