A new design of light wind turbine blade with high power coefficients is proposed in this paper. The new wind turbine blade consists of two distinct parts: its structure and airbag. This design will greatly reduce the weight of blades. This paper here will discuss the aerodynamic properties of the airbag blades. By using Computational Fluid-Structure Interaction (FSI), the aerodynamic performances of the new design are analysed, and the elastic deformation of the airbag under the pressure of wind, as well as the finer parameters of aerofoil to different circumstances, is discussed here. It implies that we may benefit more from this design type, hopefully.
