Abstract

The transcritical CO2 ejector is modelled and analyzed based on the Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) technique. The real gas properties of CO2 such as density, specific heat, enthalpy, entropy, viscosity and sound speed are considered in the study. The ejector performance is investigated by varying the two key geometries: nozzle exit position (NXP) and diameter ratio (αD). The flow characteristic and the shock wave pattern are analyzed by the detailed flow field in the ejector.
