Abstract

Recently Korean government disclosed the national target value of greenhouse gas in 2020 as 569Million tons that is reduced by 4% against that in 2005. In order to accomplish such national target, Green Growth Committee disclosed that they would reinforce energy performance standard so that newly constructed house could reach zero energy level from 2025. For this reason, ‘Zero Carbon Green Home’ under development would be embodied by producing the energy through renewable energy equipment and minimizing energy demand through introducing airtight and highly insulated passive element technology as low-energy type apartment house without carbon emission. This Study has been written on the result of comparative analysis for a variety of structure system, space planning, outside insulation method, etc. in consideration of the possibility of diffusion of the empirically demonstrated house of ‘Zero Carbon Green Home’ in future. Finally, the energy production by renewable energy equipment and minimum energy demand using CE3, an energy interpretation program was reviewed for the final design draft.
