Abstract

The thickness dependencies of the thermoelectric parameters were observed at room temperature for nanostructures p-PbTe on polyamide and p-SnTe on mica, grown from the vapor phase. Detected oscillations were explained by quantum size effects due to the current carriers’ confinement in quantum wells.
