Abstract

The modeling of the main devices for solar and waste-heat powered cooling and adsorption desalination system was introduced. The system is made of an evaporator for the vaporization, a reactor for the adsorption and a condenser for the condensations. A series of tests was performed in order to analyze the performance of the system with 3-types of silica gel. The production efficiency of the system with 3-types of silica gel was 18%~25%.
