Petkim Petrochemical Inc. is one of the most important company in Turkey. It has 14 production plants and 7 utility plants to supply those production plants. Plants having high technology are the big consumers of energy in Petkim Complex. Energy consumptions of Petkim were 1.200.000 TEO in 2009 and 900.000 TEO in 2010. Energy management and savings studies was started after privatization of Petkim in 2008. During 2009 and 2010 25.000 TEO energy which is equal to 10M US$ was saved by energy projects. 56.500 tons CO2 was decreased after these projects. In this article ACN Plant energy saving study will be explained.
