The building sector (residential or commercial) is the largest energy consumer in the world. As such, it gets a lot of attention regarding the potential savings that can be achieved with the new technologies. These ones are used to monitor and control its consumption. Considering the climate changes and its side effects, the depletion of energy resources and even the economic environment of recent years; migrate to an efficient building energetically, financially and at once ecologically is more and more evident. In this paper, we present a summary of the work done in the context of Intelligent Building while presenting different platforms developed in this field of research.
Keywords. Smart Buildings: Energy Efficiency: Renewable Energies: Home Automation
