Nowadays, using energy sources with no or little effect on the environment is necessary and requires justifiable usage of resources. For this reason usage of hydrogen in the recent years is widely increasing. One method to use the hydrogen is to utilize it in fuel cells which have both high transmission efficiency and negligible effect on the environment. One type of fuel cell is solid oxide fuel cell which operates in high temperatures. Regarding to the fact that liquid hydrogen density is considerably greater than that of gas hydrogen, hydrogen is usually liquefied for transporting. Also, due to the fact that liquid hydrogen exergy is high, it is used to improve the efficiency of hybrid gas-fuel cell cycles. In the present research, a new hybrid hydrogen-fuel cell cycle which uses liquid hydrogen is suggested. In this cycle, liquid hydrogen is used to cool the inlet air of gas turbine instead of being heated by an environmental source.
