Analyzing the Cost Method of Green Building Certification Items for Multi-Residential Building in Korea

The purpose of the present study is to propose an analysis method using the foundational data for cost on the assessment items of the green building certification system, which was imposed in Korea to expand the increase of green building markets and the green technologies continuously. According to the characteristics of the assessment items, three approaches: environment, human and economy were applied. The assessment items based on economy were 20 items including a level of providing facilities and areas for community center. The items based on environment were 12 items including ecological value of sites. The items based on human were 11 items including feasibility of the measure to prevent interference of daylight right. Through the present study, a basis on feasibility with regard to green buildings in Korea is prepared and clear information on investment of green buildings via empirical studies is provided.
