A novel hydronic PVC radiant floor-panel was produced to reduce the thermal resistance of the conventional floor panel and improve its thermal performances, which integrates heating into decorating. The novel floor panel is aesthetic, comfortable and green environmental protection and convenient installation. A simulation model that predicts the temperature distribution of the wall surface of the floor panel at different water inlet temperatures was built, and was used in design or optimization of the novel floor panel experiment. Furthermore, a test rig was established for validation of the simulation model, and the accuracy of the predictions was confirmed by the good agreement with the experimental data. Finally the factors affecting the amounts of transfer heat were analyzed by the simulation model, The simulation results show that the amounts of transfer heat of the floor panel becomes more as the water velocity increases, but the rising tendency gets slow gradually. And the higher water supply water temperature, the more the amounts of heat transfer per area, but the tendency becomes gentle when the water velocity is high enough.
